Rachael: Lead Veterinary Technician

Rachael has been in the position as a veterinary technician since 2009, and she has worked in the animal field since 2001. She has experience with not only cats, dogs, and small mammals, but has also worked with birds, reptiles, amphibians, and horses. Rachael loves meeting new furry friends at The Village Veterinarian as well as building long lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Rachael graduated from Shippensburg University of PA in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She continued her education to receive a Master of Science degree in 2009 with a concentration in biology. Rachael has five kitties at home, named Elle, Kitters, Penny, Guinness, and Meg, and she hopes to rescue a dog as soon as time allows. She loves spending time with her friends, family, and pets.

 

       

Alexis (CVT): Veterinary Technician

Alexis joined the Village Veterinarian team in March of 2017, and she has been in the veterinary field since 2016. Alexis graduated from Manor college in 2015 with her Associate's degree in science for veterinary technicians. She became a certified veterinary technician in 2016. Alexis' love for animals extends beyond the work place where she provides a loving home to her five dogs and four cats: Gizmo, Lucas, Rebel, Pierce, Bailey, Precious, Frankie, Katie, and Sebastian. Alexis loves spending time with her friends and family. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching gymnastics and baking. 

       

       

        

 

Samantha (Sam): Veterinary Technician

Samantha has been in the veterinary field since 2016 and joined the Village Veterinarian team in March 2018. She has worked closely with animals since 2013, allowing her to gain experience with dogs, cats, small mammals, and even pigs. Samantha began in a kennel atmosphere and has also worked with a local adoption and rescue team. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster College to become a certified veterinary technician. She has a particular interest in animal behavior and animal nutrition. Samantha has two pitbulls at home named Onyx and Migo. She enjoys spending time with her two children and always looks forward to taking summer vacations to Florida with her family.
